AP Human Geography  will introduce students to the interrelationships between people, where they live, and the environment they create. Many human activities force people to look around the world and ask, “why?” This course provides the foundation needed to gain a better understanding of that question and complex global problems. We cover numerous global topics including: gender inequality, cultural studies (ethnicity, language, religion), migration, population studies, country development, and urban growth and decline. We will differentiate how various scales - from local to global - impact human activity. Students will also determine the implications of connections between different groups of people.
